A synergistic research and teaching partnership with Utah State University

Founders of Mind-Body Bridging: Dr. Stanley and Carolyn Block

In 2018, Utah State University established the I-System Institute for Transdisciplinary Studies within the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, thanks to generous donations. This initiative was designed to serve USU students and the broader community by offering extensive education, training, and research opportunities based on the I-System Model.

The I-System Institute is committed to fostering personal transformation and holistic well-being through pioneering research, education, and practices. We aim to empower individuals and organizations with the knowledge and tools necessary to cultivate self-awareness, harness the mind-body connection, and lead a balanced and purposeful life.

We are dedicated to bridging the gap between science and spirituality, helping individuals better understand themselves and their role in the world. Our innovative programs encourage growth, resilience, and harmony, inspiring participants in their journey of self-discovery.

The foundational I-System Model, developed in the late 1990s by Stanley H. Block, MD, and his wife, Carolyn Bryant Block, underpins our Mind-Body Bridging® and Productive Mind initiatives. It aims to optimize health, wellness, and human performance, significantly impacting the lives of those we reach.
