Trust Leadership Conference

We invite you to attend the Trust Leadership Conference on Wednesday, October 2nd, at 9:00am (continental breakfast 8:30am, lunch to follow).

The secret to cultivating a great culture is to influence greatness in our people. To inspire them to choose to engage with the mission, vision, and values of the organization and to engage in producing great work on its behalf. We believe that within everyone lies the seeds of greatness. The responsibility of the organization is to place their people--those seeds--in a position to succeed, in deep, rich soil, then to provide all the conditions necessary for growth.

This Conference is provided free of charge to members of the Utah Local Governments Trust who carry a Trust pooled product: Property, Liability, and/or Workers Compensation. Elected Officials, Management, and Senior Staff are encouraged to attend.

Space is limited - register now.

Safety Moment Webinar: Backing Safety (REGULAR TIME EDITION)

How many miles per day do you drive? Of those miles, how many are driven in reverse? It is probably a minute fraction of the total miles you drive, but those few miles account for the largest cause of the auto claims the Trust processes each year. In this webinar, we will explore why backing accidents happen and outline things you can do today to eliminate this completely preventable accident.

The following incumbents have been nominated to continue their board service.  City/Town: Kenneth F. Neilson, Mayor, Washington City;  County: Craig W. Buttars, Executive, Cache County;  County: Shawn B. Milne, Commissioner, Tooele County;  Local and Special Service District: Pamela A. Roberts, Executive Director, Wasatch Front Waste and Recycling.

The Trust Board of Directors unanimously supports these nominees and appreciates their dedicated service and desire to continue on the Trust Board.  Please email Chelsea Johnson (chelsea@utahtrust.gov) if you have nominations.
